Hi.  I'm Jenn Adams

A creative at my core, photography is just one of my creative passions, and I am so grateful to be able to make a living this way.  Aside from enjoying the art of photography, you should know a few other things about me that absolutely impact my imagery:

I have always had a strong interest in human behavior, and I hold a BA in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.  Much of my study focused on child psychology and end of life.  This means I understand how body language can affect the mood and message of your imagery.  This knowledge paired with specific training in posing allow me to guide you through your session so that you look your best, and we embody the right energy of the session we're curating together.

I am also a longtime thespian, having been an actor/singer/dancer with Lyric Theatre Company and Stowe Theatre Guild over the last two decades.  When not photographing performances for local companies and schools, you can still find me gracing the Flynn stage.   Photography greatly mirrors the same techniques of good staging and direction, which allow me to not only compose your images aesthetically, but also prompt you and your family to elicit the emotions you'd most like to capture.

Lastly, I am a mother of two myself.   I understand the all-too-familiar scenario of being your family's record keeper while never quite making it into the record yourself.   I pay extra attention to those parents who most desire to have beautiful imagery where they are finally present.
